There are a lot of reported incidents of domestic abuse in schools. School can sometimes seem like the only safe place in a young persons life. No one can underestimate the impact of domestic abuse of a young persons learning.

Some of the work taking place in schools around domestic abuse includes:

  • Supporting ┬áthe 16 Days of Activism to End Violence against Women and the White Ribbon Campaign.
  • Domestic Abuse awareness drama workshops
  • Training for teachers by ‘A Call To Men’ -enabling teachers to deliver the ‘Coaching Healthy and Respectful Masculinity’ programme
  • Domestic Abuse – Community Ambassadors
