Young People formally and informally delivering positive messages to their peers in school and outside of school around issues like: crime prevention, anti-bullying, healthy relationships, volunteering, citizenship and staying safe.

The Community Ambassadors project is a joint project between The ContinU Trust and Safer Wyre Forest, funded by the West Mercia Police and Crime Commissioner

50+ Community Ambassadors have been recruited from across the high schools in Wyre Forest -Baxter College, The Bewdley School, Haybridge High School, Hagley Catholic High School, King Charles I School, Stourport High School, Wolverley CE Secondary School and The ContinU Plus Academy.

Training for the students in presentation and research skills has been delivered by Vestia Community Housing Education and Training. Ambassadors have also received training from the The Anti-Bullying Ambassadors (Part of the Diana Award).

The Community Ambassadors  help to promote key community safety, citizenship and wellbeing messages to peers in their own schools such as crime prevention, staying safe, anti-bullying, healthy relationships, volunteering and citizenship, typically through a calendar of assemblies, information stalls, presentations and/or displays.
